Very nice! How long did it take Wilson's to do the conversion of your Colt?
I bought the Colt second hand from a gun shop that handles Wilson's. It belonged to one of the employees who had it customized. It has been shot very little and has no wear on the finish. Most of the time it stay's locked in the safe as use my Compact for daily carry. Every now and then I give it a range session and it shoots GREAT. Where are all the Wilson owners, we need PICS.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/WBB1911/Wilsons014.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v649/WBB1911/Wilsons019.jpg

That's pretty cool. What kind of barrel is that?
Wilson's calls it a "Tapered Cone" barrel. The extra weight on end of barrel is supposed to help with recoil. I can tell a difference between the Colt and my Professional Model.

Fired 1 box of Winchester white (100 rounds) and I had 1 FTF
I am telling myself that it needs a few more rounds to work out any issues...I hope!

That is a nice looking gun! I am very surprised you would have a FTF though. Remember not to take it apart to clean or oil till after 400-500 rnds break-in.

The CQB tactical rail in the house gun and used at the range. The 44 ounces makes it easier on my arthiritic elbow.
The CQB compact is my main daily carry.
The Glock 36 is used in a cross draw when I am driving
The S&W 327 is eight shots in .357 magnum....something to use when you are jumped in a telephone booth!! :-)

Yeah I carry a Glock 36 in my truck too as a BUG. Main carry is CQB Compact.
