Dear friend, I become owner of Para 18.9 a few days ago and my first wish is to replace the factory grips with aluminium - like those offered by Alumagrips. Unfortunately they don`t have such in their production list - I wrote them and was kindly advised that everything they offers is listed in their site. Does anybody has any idea where can be find something like?

Yeah from what I understand Alumagrips isnt going to make them any time soon either.
But I can tell you that who ever decides to start making them is going to make a lot of money. I want some myself for my p14 and all my friends do as well.

I'd buy at least 2 pair as well.

I figure it'd be possible to make molds of the factory grips, then use those to cast aluminum (for those with applicable workspace - I've even got a book on charcoal-foundry aluminum casting)(but I live in a 1-bedroom apartment <sigh>).
Second option would be to dremel'n'file some aluminum barstock, but that's rather labour- and time-intensive. (Also, I have no dremel, and really don't want to pick metal shavings out of the carpet.)

I had a thought ( i know, i know, i always get in trouble when i do that). What about using 1911 grips on a PO fitted with the Gun Craft grips fillers? So, I just tried it- no go. They hang off the back and at the top of the PO frame it angles in and there is another overhang. I doubt anyone wants to pay for fancy aluminum grips just to grind them to fit without overhang. See, told you I get in trouble when I think.:(
