Has anybody ever seen one of these??
Anybody have any information on the Ultra Ten??
I have scoured the internet for information on this gun to no avail.
I did however find out it is a part of a series of 500 off guns like:
Custom combat 10
Match 10
Combat delta 10
Elite team
Gold Cup Ten
and others I may have missed.
I've heard that this run of guns were built just to get rid of some left over parts when the Delta Elite was discontinued.
How true that is, I'm not sure.
It appears to have a government slide atop of a Gold Cup frame.
I've never seen anything like this, I bought it just because it was unusual.
What do you think the value of a gun like this would be??
It has been shot...... I know, but I couldn't help it.
Thought I'd post the question and find out if anyone else knows anything. (about the gun of course ;) )

Nice one! You pretty much know all there is about it. Except they are not made up of unused Delta parts. The Delta never used a Gold Cup reciever. In fact, these pieces were commissioned by Colts larger distributors or by Colt themselves as limited runs.

I have a Match 10 and my shootin partner has a Gold Cup Ten.

Here is the Match 10......Gold Cup reciever with factory Millett sights.....kinda ugly, but I guess they were cool 20 years ago.

And I keep hoping to stumble into a decent deal on one. I will bite the bullet and buy the reloading dies and the brass, and (speaking of bullets) those too.

WOW, check out those sights. I have never seen them before.
Still a handsome gun in my lowly opinion though.

I can't fault those Milletts on a paper puncher. I have them on a new series 80 and they work fine, but wouldn't do for a carry piece - way too high, especially that vulnerable front post.

I saw a 10/40 (two barrels) Colt 1911 yesterday. It was NIB and a very nice pistol. Anyone have any info on those ?A 10 40 is a Lew horton commissioned run of basically a Combat Elite in 10mm that could be had with a fitted .40 barrel and mags. The run was of 500 or 1000 units....the blue book says 100, but they are wrong. I saw one at a shop Friday that was LNIB, it could not have been fired since leaving the factory.

I'm thinking you should be buying that one you saw.....I have only ever seen 2 for sale in my area......not counting a ocuple on GB.
