I have seen that ad and wondered what the magazines are, and if they're any good. Please post a follow-up when you receive your merchandise.

Will do ! (The Pics at their web vending site show the Mags and the pouch too ! The pouch seemes to be exactly what I'm looking for in setting up a Dated 1976-7 era USGI Pistol Belt & pre Baretta era colt USGI holster !

Mag's & Pouches arrived today ( Vietnam era pouch is Used but VGC and it is the perfict match for my Rig which is all 70's dated and used with nice wear on metal buttons & rivits exposing the brass patina yet the canvas has strongly retained it's color ! Canteen & cover is Unissued and it matches the other mag pouch that arrived in the new unissued Mag & pouch Pkg. and those have a slightly darker green look & new ALICE slide keepers, mags are new in cosmo Taiwan made(but have the rounded follower which seems at least to me,a beginner, to be lower quality stamping) but they drop perfictly and will be tested and kept as spares! With the price of Gasoline these days it's nice to See Pics and order this stuff via the Interwebz as opposed to drivin around and seeking it at places that do not normally have this stuff ...All in all I'm happy with the Pouches and am learning the Magazine game of USGI .45 collectables...

What has ALICE clips, the mag pouches?
I don't know what the Army was using by the time the U.S. left Vietnam, but when I was there the ALICE system hadn't even been invented. Our web gear was all attached to the belt using the one-piece length of wire through a canvas loop and then bent into two hooks to engage the belt.
I'm looking for gear to assemble a complete set that's period-correct for the time I was in service, and ALICE clips are not period correct for the late 60s.

All my Gear is dated 76-7 = Post Vietnam (But guys who took part in Evacuation of Saigon and other operations 1n1975 recieved their Nam service patches & medals) and my AK rig has an M14 mag pouch that has ALICE clips that dates to late 60's or early 70's and other forum poster said M56 (USGI .45 Mag pouch) had ALICE clips) ... and whats the past experience You guys have had with mags made in Taiwan ???(They drop perfictly in my gun !)
