Hello,
Please forgive my ignorance but I need the experts to provide me with what my options are for replacing my .330 X 65 degree dovetail rear sight.
What sights will fit the current cut and what sights will fit with milling?
I've looked at the sights that are available and it appears that the sights in the market have dovetail cut that are farther forward than the my dovetail and will not work even with milling my existing cut.
Any and all help will be most appreciated.

Might be worth calling one of the big sight companies and ask them what products they have that fill the bill.

Millet makes several that will fit your stock setup. I bought a set a couple years back because I didn't want to mill the slide. Mepro makes night sights for it too.

Placement of the slide and sight dovetails can be deceptive to the eye.
King's and MGW make fixed sights that fit the stock dovetail and hang over the rear of the slide for maximum sight radius. So does the Novak Competition rear sight.
The Novak Concealed Carry fits the standard dovetail but is streamlined as much as possible. King's has a sight that looks and fits like the factory sight, just bigger.
You can have it milled for the Novak Low Mount and Heinie fixed sights, and for Bomar-type adjustables. The Bomar will set a little farther to the rear than usual to clear the firing pin block, as seen on the factory Colt Combat Special down at the store here.
I have owned all the sights I mention above except Heinie and that may change soon. There are no doubt others.
I think that the Novak sight made to fit without mill work looks bad. It's got their dartlike shape and it sorta' perches up on top a roundtop slide like a big bird, or maybe like a chicken..............:).
Anyway, it looks weird, IMO.

The basic thing you need to ask yourself is "why you want the sights changed".
That will guide you to what sights you want on this pistol. From then on, the way to put them on will be deteremined. Usually a gunsmith needs to cut the new dovetails, but there are some sights that fit the existing one, at least in the rear.
As far as I am concerned, the Colt High Profile sights used on S80 pistol are perfectly serviceable. I wouldn't change them.
