I have a wilson drop in barrel, where the guide rod hitts the barrel just over the pin , it is denting it causing the barrell link to stick, and I thilnk that this is causing some failure to feed ,any suggestions? I am still trying to post a pic , but havent figuired it out yet

File a 30 degree bevel halfway onto the 'button' nose of the guide rod end.

Canuck-IL is correct.
If the back side of the guide rod is hitting the barrel to any degree, either use a different guide rod or file an angle or bevel on it so it stops this unwanted behavior. I've done it to several guide rods, problem solved.

Something like that.

Is the contact with the guide rod or the guide rod's flange? If it's the butt-end of the rod, you can solve it with a lathe in about 30 seconds. Any small machine shop can handle it, and they'll probably do it por nada.
