Colt Commander Light Weight

Can anyone tell me when my Colt CLW was manufactured? The serial is CLW043*** (didn't want to put the complete number). I believe it was 1976 but I just want to know for sure. Thanks for any and all help!

You can check it here. I couldn't find a match though. You might want to double check your serial numbers or I just missed it.

You can call Colt at 1 800 962 Colt and ask customer service with the serial number and they can tell you.
