Hello, i was wondering if this bushing would fit my SA loaded 5" but the sizes that they mentioned on the site looked to large. and also i have a FLGR and im sure that i would have to buy something else (GI guide rod and spring) right?
here is the link to the site

If you call them they can make you a "Drop In" bushing but yes if you don't specify otherwise it does come oversized so you can make the perfect fit to your specific barrel and slide
you will have to lose the FLGR (which is a good thing) and replace it witha standard guide rod and spring EGW probably has what you need
Just in case you were wondering they can do anything you want on there it will cost additional $$$ but still in reason.
I just put one on my Mil Spec for a little customizing and I love it
Anyway your best bet, call them, they are nice folks and will help you any way possible

What keeps it from turning?

There is a notch on the top, so the bushing and plug lock into each other.

The plug and the bushing are a matched pair, you can't just buy the plug, you need the bushing too, so the plug doesn't turn.

You can order the EGW bushing in a drop-in size for your SFA, and you can also have them custom engrave the recoil spring plug. For example, they did this for my Caspian project...just an fyi.

Knew I should have looked here last night. <G> How much did they charge for the custom logo?
Edit - I *knew* I should have dug further, as well. Saw your previous post - $50 extra for the custom, hmm? (begins counting pennies)
