Hey there Doc. I'm a FNG here too. It seems like there is a good group of NHC fans here.

That's a great looking pair of 1911's, and nice looking edged weapons too. I also have a Talon 10mm. Mine is Cobalt Blue over hard chrome with NHC logo cocoa bolo grip panels and a mag well.

It's a great shooter (as are all Nighthawks) in a great caliber. Of all the 10's I currently have, my Talon 10mm is the most accurate 10mm handgun that I own hands down. You're going to really like your Talon a lot.

It is also my understanding that a very small number of NHC 10mm's were ever built, and they're so busy selling these super high quality 1911 weapons that currently they are only building up 45's. You have a real keeper there.

Enjoy your Talon 10, I'm sure enjoying mine!

We have stopped, at least for now. One thing that is very important to us is to get the product to the consumer without tremendously long waits. For now we are staying the 45acp only because we can build them in a more timely manner. We also don’t have to juggle around different slides, frames and components to make all the different calibers. I hope that we will be back in them within a year or so. For now at least, you have a rare item. You’re probably on track with the number 10 as the number we manufactured.

Welcome to the forum, Combat Medic. Nice pistols, I did not know NHC made any 10mm. Never owned a NHC, what I hear is all good. Have 3 Wilsons, 1 Bear, and 1 Colt, have to flip coin for next purchase, either NHC or EB.

Hi all, Just got a NHC Recon Rail Talon (All Black) came with a "free" Surefire X200!. Went to the range and put 200 rounds of ball through it with not a problem. This is my 1st (but not my last) NHC. Excellent 1911...I have a Wilson Professional and I feel that Nighthawk are as good as Wilson.

10mm Nighthawk Talon
At time I purchased this I called Nighthawk and they told me that "they made about 10ea. of the 10mm's and wouldnt be making any more for about a year if they made any more at all"
well is has been about a year since I have checked in to it but they may be making them buy now.

Nighthawk is currently only making .45's and 9mm (Talon line only). So you do have a rare Nighthawk. Hang on to it. It may turn into a collectors item :D
