I would hope Crimson Trace would start making grips for our Paras since Todd Jarrett is working with them now. Does anyone have any info on the subject?

Gossmann1:
Single-stackers in full sized and Officer's sized frames should work just fine with Crimson Trace's current products.
Double-stackers and some of the really short frames are another story, and probably won't be available anytime soon, unless you really jump on the folks at CT.

I watched the recent SW light and lazer comp. last night (recorded) TJ got second behind sevigny (sp?) I see a sales/design push on the horizon. Good for us all.

That little girl is cute!
TJ's using a P14, I think. Heavily modified.... The "Government" sized grips will fit that one just fine. (S&W seems to factory-equip some models with the CT laser.)
Everybody's selling lasers lately.... I've never actually shot one, but have had the chance to play with them. Not something I want for other than training. But that's just me.... Be nice if they were cheaper - IMHO, CT and others are getting a very long buck for them.

Hey Gang,
I got to play with a laser last year. What I notice more than anything else was that you still had to "sight" the gun. I couldnt aim the laser..
you should see the dot waive all around when you aimed it BUT
aim the sights and the laser steadied.
I figured if I have to aim the sights why get a laser ???
Still I think its a cool idea and helpful for nights and there has to be some fear in a guy when the dot is put on him..
I got a idea to get one for my springfield but the cost does seem a wee bit high so its not one of my priorities.
I still think I'm going to big dot on my springfield just cant seem to make up my mind........

Actually it is just the opposite. If you ever practice point shooting it comes very easy. And the laser can put things spot on. You need to not use the sights and rely on the laser. It is easy to practice especially if you dry fire.

I bet if you put 4 or 500 rounds thru a weapon equiped with them you would want a set. They are extremely nice on a carry weapon.

Hi guys, a couple things I want to comment on.
If you are standing at a line just static shooting you will not see a real benefit to lasers past your trigger control. Where you will see an HUGE advantage is shooting on the move, shooting at moving targets, and shooting quickly on target as well as from compromised positions. If you have not had the opportunity to train with them under these conditions you have not experienced all a laser brings to the table.
Also, yes Todd is working with us giving input in new product development, marketing, and training. His comment on his Para Lasergrip ( :scared: ) was tongue in cheek. Todd is never one to stand on looks, at the quick glance the show gave it looked like a old LG-201 model hacked up complete with duct tape for a final touch. At this time we are not working on Para Lasergrips, I was kind of hoping to see them this year myself but several other projects designed for military and law enforcement took precedence. I will keep on pushing though.
Stay safe!
