Series 80 Parts

I want to enhance my Series 80 Colt with and extended grip safety, wide spur hammer , sear, main spring housing, and safety lever (All in stainless except the sear). Who makes these parts that require the least fitting for installation? Also , can the grip safety be installed without modifing the frame?

We need some ... clarifications:

- Extended grip safety? Do you mean a beavertail? If so, you may use a Wilson drop-in beavertail, which does not require any modifications to the frame. But don't expect the fit to be as good as with a gunsmith-installed safety.

- Wide spur hammer? It won't work with a beavertail. If you want a beavertail, you will need to use either a round or an oval hammer.

Finally one word of caution, not too many parts in a 1911 are really drop-in.
