The bushing may require some fitting...

The fit to my barrel is perfect no problems there. It is the fit to my frame that is tight. It will have no interference with the function of the gun. (hopefully)

go to your local auto parts store get white lithium grease if the barrel fits through the bushing a little tight but moves easy after assembled your in buisness smear the grease around the barrel with slide locked open then release slow wipe excess off and go shoot it lol...... enjoy

Tighter is gooder, when it comes to bbl/bushing/slide interface. How tight it is in the slide is of lesser consequence, but how tight it is to the bbl, is EVERYTHING! Forced bushing wrench use is a small price to pay for the accuracy that results. The rest is all about the relationship of your lugs.

My best guess is that you just tightened your groups up by an inch at 25yds!
