slimmest grips..Alumi vs Altomont

I was reading brownells 1911 cataloge and noticed they had the thicknesses listed for the grips, so I started looking for the thinness grips available. I came up with the Alumi grips and Altomont grips. to my supprise the Altomonts are a little thinner than the alumi grips. You would think that the aluminum construction would be thinner than the wood.

Anyway, I just wanted to asks if anyone has the altomont ultra slims and what do you think? are the they slimmest grips out there?

I just got off the phone with Altomont grips. They said the grips are .175" at the widest point. This is not what is wrote for them in the brownells book wich was .153".
The alumi grips win by being .155" thick.
still the slimmest of the slims.
