What is the difference between the X300 and the X200.

And where would be the best place to purchase them.

Thanks in advance.

The X300 is the new version of the X200, and the X200 is no longer being made anymore. The X300 is also about twice the brightness of the X200A and 10 more lumens the the X200B, and about an hour longer of run time for the X300 over the X200. The X300 is also setup to be used at close and long ranges, rather than the X200A which was for long distance and the X200B for closer ranges. I like LA Police Gear (http://www.lapolicegear.com/sux3pili.html) for getting things. The problem is the X300 is too new to get a good deal on yet.

That doesn't seem like a bad deal, especially with the shipping and batteries. I'll thank this forum for helping me burn through even more cash. I've dealt with LA Police Gear before and they've been great. After seeing this deal I think I'll stop waiting for the X400 and get the X300.

Every place I checked has the X300 for $225 with batteries & free shipping. With my discount the price is $169 (and that's from Surefire).

I haven't been able to get with LA Gear as of yet. I've noticed alot of people are out of stock on the light.

I think I'll order it & wait the 3 or 4 weeks.

$169 is the best deal you'll find anywhere. I'm pretty sure that LA Police Gear has them in stock, however you aren't getting it for $169 though.

At $169 I'd say it would be a steal - I'd like to know how to get that discount.

Surefire offers a 25% discount to LEO's. I've never ordered from them but that is what the Customer Service girls told me last week. As I said there is a 3 to 4 week wait since they are out of stock.

Good luck.

Ah, OK, I thought you might have been a retailer. I'll have to find out if that applies to retired LEO's.

Just got mine in today from LAPolicegear.com
I can't speak as to it's comparison to the x200s but it seems high quality. I'm waiting for my mr07 so I can mount it to my kimber. (LAPolice gear didn't notify me that they were out of stock on the mount).

I kinda want the teeshirt that says "I am the light at the end of the tunnel". That along with the 15 free batteries make it a pretty good deal. LAPG also has free ground shipping on SF orders over $50. Best deal around.

I paid $175 for mine and it is a great light. Check Nighthawk to get pricing.....

I like the X300 over the X200B. A lot brighter and longer run time.
