The Feds were kind enough to let me bring it home today.

1950 Colt's .45 Gubmint Model, great old Colt blue job (there isn't anything wrong with the bluing, its the reflection of the porch ceiling:-). Minor blue wear on the bottom front of the slide, fine line of wear on the tip of the dust cover (pics makes it look much worse than it is) and of course, the preverbal idiot scratch beneath the slide stop.

Pics not showing, gunpix.com does not respond.

And who are you calling an idiot????? No, mine does not have that scratch, not now anyway. But it's on its third reblue, so you can't see it anymore, neither can you see the scratch above the slide stop notch on the slide. But they've been there all right!

LoL

Beautiful Colt.........but OUCH! on the scratch.

Not much better than an old Colt in great shape. Thanks for the pics.
