I have an SA Loaded Model, and I am thinking of having some custom work done. This is my daily carry piece, and I am wanting some reliability work done (it has never been unreliable), and a bit of accurizing. Just wondering who comes recommended? I don't have very deep pockets, so this may take a year to save for, just seeing what names come up.

Who better than the Springfield Custom Shop. They have packages available for reliability and carry prep.

John Harrison is a great smith and a really nice guy too. He will do it up right for you!!!

I had some custom work done to my mil spec by Dave Lauck.

Thank you. Looks like the SA Custom shop may best fit my budget, hopefully they won't replace my extractor, it is a Brown, and much better than the ones SA uses.

My guess is, and it is just that, should you includea note indicating as much, the Custom Shop folks would leave the extractor alone.

Will do, one day I may be able to afford to have some high dollar work done, then again, maybe I'll just buy another.
