Colt New Agent.....The ejection port is being hit by ejected shells at the portion which is lowered with by a flair. It's leaving brass marks on an otherwise perfect gun. Is there and adjustment I can make to prevent this occurrence.

Check for proper extractor tension and adjust, if necessary. The adjustment is primarily done to insure proper feeding, extraction. It also is done to insure proper ejection up to the point that the empty case will get out of the slide.

There is the possiblity that if your extractor tension is not correct, correcting it may stop the case from contacting the exterior of the slide. But, that's only a possibility.

If it was my gun, I'd just happy if the empties made it out of the slide without causing any stoppages or hitting me in the eye!
