View Full Version : New functionality in the site

I just added a new feature in our forums site.

There are some times, that you want to create a new thread, or write an answer to a post, or even write a Private Message, so you start typing it, but something interrupts you and you need to stop whatever you were doing in mid-train. Or your message is long-winded and you wish you could save it somehow and come back to it later on. Wouldn't that be nice?

Well, now you can.

Whenever you post a new thread, or a new reply or a PM, you will notice an additional button at the bottom of the thread, saying "Save Draft". Click that button and whatever you have typed so far, will be saved. To see what drafts you have already saved, go to your UserCP, and at the left column there are three new options, Draft Threads. Draft Posts and Draft PMs. From there, you can see the message you have prepare and continue editing it. Or you may delete it, by checking the small box on the right and clicking on the Delete button.

Members can save up to 5 drafts in each of the three folders (Threads, Posts, PMs). Moderators can save up to 10 drafts per folder.

I hope you like this functionality.

Every time you think there's nothing left to "fix," El Comandante finds and fixes something nobody else ever thought of.

Don't tell me it's not a useful feature? Now, I can start a message asking you about my XJ lights today, and finish it tomorrow or in 3 days.
