Stampings on finger guard

Im looking at my guns and the have stampings on the finger guard, theres a T and a B and some sort of design logo. Im taking it as a design change but the same make as per say.

i was wondering the same thing. looks like mine has a check mark on it

This is one of those cases where a picture would be reeeel good. Also more definition of what the gun is and a general, not specific serial number.

I think they're just in house inspection markings put there while each pistol progresses through the various stages of production. If it's as in other factories each quality control inspector or inspection station will be given an individual stamp to apply to the gun if it meets specs as it goes by.
