I posted a while back about this pistol that a buddy of mine gave me to clean for him, and how impressed I was with it.

Well, I finally got around to fooling with it tonight and I must say......it is the best put together Colt I have ever seen. I would buy it from him in a heartbeat and carry it and shoot it. This thing is class, man.....don't pass these babies up when you are looking to build a custom.

Too bad you can't shoot it and give us a range report. It would be interesting to see how well it shoots.

That is a nice looking Colt, it would be hard for me to have it in close proximity and not shoot it.

DD couple of books I have recommend them as build guns because of how much less they can be bought for than regular production pistol. Go ahead and shoot it and clean it again just to make sure it's in good working order. ;)

I wish I could.......it's a friend's gun and he doesn't want it shot. I am just cleaning it for him.
I tell you what though.....this thing is awesome.

They are nice guns. I remember the original adds on them and see them now and again in gunstores in the SouthWest at the $750-$1K range. Even if they don't have the box, they always look new, as in nobody wants to shoot them I guess.

Actually, carrying a commemorative would be really appropriate..........
