What is it with me?

I am waiting to pick up my second Colt and I am already looking for a third.

Hi, I'm Dave and I'm a Coltaholic.

Colt 45..a completely unique experience.

If you remember that commercial you, too, are older than dirt.

Army I wish I could say that it will end there, but I'm afraid it is just the start of your addiction. :D The good thing is that part of the fun is the search and the wait at your FFL on delivery day.

Welcome to the 12 step Colt buyers club! I have quite a few Colts now...... Anyway, they will multiply at an alarming pace if you're not careful.

Let us see a pic when you get her and a range report after you shoot her.

This is a 12 step program? I have 11 now, does that mean I am almost through with treatment? :D

As a confirmed 1911 abuser about to buy my first Colt, I'll have to reserve judgment on whether Coltaholics are more addicted than Les Bauer addicts, etc. I love shooting them all. Comparing their performance is always a kick for me.

Well I am happy to say that Colt number three is on the way. Just ordered a new stainless 1991 A1 Commander. Woo Hoo.
Now I own three.

I agree. And having Kimbers, Springers, Paras, etc. I do not know why the Colt just seems better. Strange and not logical.

I think I would go for one o them Special Combats from the custom shop.
You know...the one that goes for $1500 or so.

The hard chrome SCG is a beautiful gun while the two tone one is quite striking as well.
They're a well fit up gun.
