Colt Series 80 Stainless 9mm

Looking at one up here and wondering if you might know approximately when serial # 5543370 (picture a bit fuzzy but I think it's right) might have been manufactured.

I would call Colt on their 800 number and ask them. They would tell you the year it was made for free.

Series 80 stainless (!) 9mm (!!).

I thought Colt only made a few hundred Series 80s in 9mm and have never heard anything about a stainless 9mm.
