Any thoughts on adding a compensator to a 1991? A friend said that sometimes depending on your loads you can lose accuracy and was just wondering if it has any validity. I like the way mine shoots i just like the look of a compensator on the end. Thoughts?

I own a Wilson Pro comp carry. The compensator does reduce muzzle rise for faster follow up shots. Particularly with the +P ammo that I use for carry. I also like the looks, and know that it works-at least the Wilson design comp does.
LB, NH, EB, and Kimber SIS Pro, along with a 3" S&W Performance Center 7shot L-frame with a comp. are my comparasons. The revolver, in particular, is amazing-the hottest .357 loads are like shooting +P 38's.

Your friend might be right. There are many different comps. and loads. There are some compensators you can add, but are reversible, as you can then take them off. Might try playing with some of those.
