Looking to make 1st purchase/Question on finish 70 series

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a 70 series. Yeah, my first Colt. Seems like when I woke up yesterday morning, I realized " I just have to have one." LMAO, I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to. :D

So my question for the gurus is this: Did the 70 series come in satin nickel and blue or was there also stainless steel as well? I did find out stainless is an option for the 80 series. (I'm not sure if I'm likin' all that firing pin safety mechanism yet so I'll stay with the 70 series)

Oh by the way..If anybody has one they would like to sell please let me know! :)

S70 repro comes in stainless and blue steel. ;)

The new Series 70's are available in blue or stainless.

Original Series 70's were blue or satin nickel.
