Long Rifle

I have a nice Colt Mk IV Series 80 anniversary gun, and whoever had this thing before me, must have put higher profile sights on it and mounted the front one crooked.
So it shoots quite a bit to the left.
I figured the best way to fix it is to have someone do a dovetail in the front.
Local shop is set up to do it, but they say it will take MONTHS to get to.
Anyone have good source for a bit faster repair?
Wonder if I should call Colt?
