Here's a Caspian framed 38 Super I recently aquired. The gun was built by http://www.santurriltd.com/ (Dave Santurri)

I bought the gun used, from the fellow who initially had the gun built. I shoot in local plate shoots, and I'll be using this piece to compete in stock class.
I added the S/A mgwell, Ed Brown mag release and long Greider trigger, and got me 5 new Tripp Cobra Mags
And yes, I did get a chance to put some rounds through it today. Here's a 10 round group, fired off-hand at 50'. The load is a 125 gr. Rainier plated T/C over 5 grains of Win 231 in new Starline brass. The gun is a shooter!

Thanks for the kind words :)

I've been busy with this piece,
I added a Briley spherical bushing, and shortened the guide rod a bit to allow one to rotate/remove the bushing. Undercut the trigger guard area, chamfered the end of the slide, and radiused the trigger guard. De-Horned and bead blasted the the whole thing, except for a high-polish on the safeties, slide and mag releases and the barrel crown.

I like the way it looks and the Briley bushing looks good too. I have a couple of those in my guns.
