Hello to all.
New to this forum, and to 1911's. I have a couple of SIG's and a few revolvers, including my favorite, a Python 6" blue. I've been reading back threads for days trying to learn, so here goes.
Grip safety and beavertail safety, not one in the same?
Old roll mark, new role mark??????
I have a 1995 Gold Cup National Match in the mail, should be here on Wednesday. Anything you can tell me about this year/model would be appreciated.
Just wondering if anyone has formulated a list of Colt 1911's, beside what is new from the factory. I understand the size issue, but I've read so much about various models it's difficult to get a handle on them. It seems like every model has it's fans, and that's to be expected.
I realize that last one was a biggie, but perhaps it's been done, and I just need to find it.
This forum has been a great education. Thanks to all.
