Hey, usually on gun-related BBs, the minute that a person of the feminine persuasion shows up and posts, the males of the board are "all over her" like slavering hounds, flirting, seeking her attention and generally trying to be ingratiating.

This board has shown unusual restraint, reserve and courtesy so far in conversing with Joni Lynn, whom I would certainly not refer to as a "professional pest" as yet.

It's not just BB's!

A year or two ago, back when I was an undergraduate, a few of us "in the know" knew where the math dept. had a room full of computer terminals. (This was when the computer filled a room and was attended to by a swarm of drones in white lab coats, you understand.)

At night, after all the "jobs" had been run, you could grab one of these terminals and actually PLAY GAMES!!! ...on a COMPUTER!!! Just imagine! You could even play each other. You just logged on, gave your name, called up a list of the names of anyone else logged in, and issued your challenge. You could give any name you wanted to. You could also PM anyone, even if you weren't playing them at the time.

My roommate routinely logged on as "Sue," the name of his g.f. at the time (and wife today for all I know) and was immediately and repeatedly hit on by the clueless geeks sitting around him. Every time.

So remember, on the internet, nobody knows you're a guy.

I've been at it for 26 years. She is wonderful. Let's me buy any and all guns I want and also lets me buy her guns for Anniversary, her birthday, Mothers day, St. Patricks day, Presidents day, Monday, Tuesday. :) Ya'll get the point. The sad part is that she doesn't shoot very much so I have the drudgery of having to shoot and clean her guns also. Ho Hummmmmmm!!!
