combat elite

[trying hard]

My friend and I are discussing about my problem with accro sight. He mentioned that , awhile ago he saw on a gun show a COMBAT ELITE WITH FIXED SIGHT and claimed its from the factory. Is there truth on what he said?

trying hard, I am by no means an expert, but I do believe that the first Combat Elites had fixed sights and standard hammers. The accro sights were on the later "Enhanced" versions. Do a search on gunbroker.com for combat elites and they might have an older version. Anyone with more knowledge, please back me up and/or add more info.

Yep, the first Combat Elites had fixed sights, (electroless nickled and s/s lowers were variations); all had Pachmayr grips, the almost a beavertail grip safety and the Commander hammer - Beveled mag well, lowered and relieved ejection port, too, IIRC. The "enhanced" models came along later with angled slide serrrations and accro sights.
