custom barrel bushing

Wondering if anybody had ordered a EGW barrel bushing. I was thinking about one...heard they custom-made them to customer measurements for around $20. Sounds like a good deal. Anybody got any experience with these? Also, if i decide to order one how do I go about getting the proper measurements. Thanks everybody.

Excellent investment ... use a caliper to measure the barrel at the end as well as the slide. Redo the measurements a few times to be sure. Call them and ask for an angle bored bushing. May as well browse their web site and pick up another few misc items to make the shipping worthwhile.

Yep, call them direct.......tell them your barrels O.D. measurement, and ask for a .701-.702 O.D. of the bushing.
You'll have to turn it down a bit to get a good snug fit into your slide, but it's worth the effort. I just chuck mine in the drill press and turn it down using polishing sticks and emery cloth.
