Hey guys. Going to try Tuner's EGW square firing pin stop suggestion...wondering if I need to order the 70 series or 80 series stop for a springfield loaded. Thanks everybody.

The series 70 will be the correct part. EGW now offers the part in stainless if that is the material your slide is made of. Let us know how the mod works out!

Thanks for the help. I thought the series 70 was correct but wanted to be sure. should I order the part directly from EGW? I didn't see the stainless part for sale on midway. Any tips or prep necessary for installation besides the beveled edge I read about on the sticky thread? Thanks again!

Either will work, but the 70 is more correct. The 80 has an extra cut on one side for the firing pin safety parts.

I have one on my Loaded.

The FPS can either be ordered directly from EGW or from Brownells.

If you want stainless you need to call George at EGW, Brownells only has the standard oversize stops.
Check the threads about the OS FPS for fitting tips. There are several good tutorials here and they can give better instructions than I can.
