Tried to check the SAM website: www.shootersarms.com.ph, but couldn't link through. Are they out of business in the Philippines, or is it just web problems?

hi lemon328i,
I'm from the Philippines and ive been to one of shooter's gunstore here. Ive seen their most recent addition to their growing line of pistol line..and i could say that they have improved a lot. The salesperson said that they are new stock. I handled a few and the fit and finish is satisfactory. They are not definitely of business..web problem probably

Thanks Jellfire!
I'll check their website again in a few days. If they still make slides from barstock, I think they'll be my next choice for a project gun.

Hmm, website is up again! Perhaps they were just doing an update... Still looks like they make slides from barstock, so it will be a SAM for me!

I agree with kerwin. During my last visit at the gunstore they have a lot of SAM parts for their gun and they are very reasonably priced. Their commander sized 1911 for example goes for less than 300 US dollars. Hope its d same there in the US also.
