Reblueing A Delta Elite

The slide has the blued finish on one side messed up pretty good. It looks like someone had it sitting on something with the serial number side down and it slide around damaging the blueing but not the surface metal. Is Colt the way to go and does anyone know what they charge and the turnaround time from first hand experience? Can they just do the slide or the the whole gun so it will all match?

I had a series 80 .45, Colt that had some serious slide finish issues. I used a product called "Blue Wonder", did a great job.. no fumes, just need to remove old bluing and heat with a hair dryer. Couldn't be happier for the result and the not so much $$$.

To bad about the Delta, they came (as mine did) with a wonderful deep dark blue.
