Mounting a red dot sight

My vision, being considerably less than ever, is causing me sighting problems. I have special glasses that allow me to see the front sight, but cause other problems. I was thinking of getting a red dot sight, however, I would prefer not to drill and tap my Colt Series 70. Does anyone know of a way to mount a red dot without drilling and tapping the frame?

There is a mount available that attaches under the grip screws, like the clipdraw does. I have seen them before but don't know the name or any other info, but keep digging, they are out there!
