I am looking for a nice hammer and sear set for my fusion project. I have seen the parts that fusion offers and I am wondering if anyone here has used any of their parts. I am also looking at the Cylinder and Slide kit. If anyone has any experience with either of these I would like to hear your opinion. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a C&S kit in my colt that I carry daily.. I like it... Great compared to stock, but I cant compare it to any other kits, as I have not shot any other kits or professional trigger jobs..

It is my opinion that throwing a "pre-adjusted" set of trigger parts into your gun is like jumping with some else's chute. Do you KNOW that everything is correct? Because if not, there are potentially grave results. That statement is doubly true if you are talking a personal defense firearm. Ladies and Gentlemen, "Les Jeux sont fait." Take it to a smith.

Lazarus makes a good point. Nothing is "drop-in" and there's no "free lunch". I can't really think of a more important parts group on a pistol than the trigger group.
That said;
C&S trigger groups are certainly among the best.
However, in your case, since it's a Fusion gun, I would not hesitate to recommend the Com Pro-S group (SKU: TG-COM-1). I put one of these in a friends gun and it was yummy. The trigger came out at an extraordinarily crisp and predictable 3.25lbs. It could have gone lighter, but that's where he wanted it. The parts take a back seat to nothing, in terms of quality and you could have Bob and Dale fit it. Win/win.

C&S puts out some of the best parts on the market. If I were going to use a drop in set, it would be C&S.
I have used some of their other parts, and they ar top notch.

That enhances my belief that jumping with a chute is never a good idea. If God wanted us to fly in the air he would have given us wings. Not large umbrellas.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. :p

I really appreciate all the info. I will probably just get a good smith to do the job and be done with it. I have found out that having something done right the first time always seems to work out better in the long run.

I always refinish drop-in parts, and with a sear and hammer, there's just no such thing as true drop-in.
I've used Fusion parts in two guns, one was about 80% Fusion parts and they are outstanding, some of the best I've found. Barstock parts in perfect tolerances. Don't hesitate. Plus Bob Serva is great to deal with, top notch all around.
