No Horse On Delta Elites?

I have not been able to find the Colt horse anywhere on the gun, is this normal? I don't think I have seen a Colt without it?

Well, I just looked at every Delta Elite on sale at Gunbroker. Only the first editions (and not even all of those) had the horse on them. I guess the Delta triangle replaced the pony on the Deltas.

The M1991A1 did not have the Rampant Colt either.
Over the years there have been quite a few models that didn't.
