I think I got this figured out, here are the pics of my new Gunsite. It is heavily laden in oil, needs some wiped off, I guess it will keep the rust off. It is sitting in the safe for now, till I decide what I want to do.

Excellent Colt, and great pics!!!!! I want one! The CCO's are very, very cool .

I wouldn't worry about "over oiling" too much. I know...it does attract "lint", etc....but i keep my guns thoroughly lubed (especially the park'd one's..and the blue one's...i guess ALL of 'em ;)!). Metal on metal just doesn't jive with me ;). And i clean them enough (my guns) that i don't see it being a problem. YMMV.

I think the next one of those I see comes home with me.
I'm thinkin' the very same thing Joni :)! I had to pass on not one, but TWO, that Creighton found in late December (cuz it was the Holidays and i was short on funds :(); i won't let that happen again :butthead:!

I ended up getting it from a member on here. He said he bought it and then decided he did not want it.

Nice Gunsite CCO! They are easy on the belt, hip and back for carry.

Good thing too cause you'd have a broke back if it weren't...as old as you are. Oh wait you are broke but that is OD's fault. :D
