I got to handle one of their guns at a local IDPA match in Arab,Al. Saturday. I must say I was pretty impressed with the gun. I have always considered the Les Baer Premier II at $1250 to be the best buy in a "Premium" 1911. The RRA gun was a Commander sized gun. The fit and finish was very good. The barrel locks up just like I fit mine. There is a slight tightness as the slide travels the last 1/4" into battery. It is not nearly as tight as the LB.
I have no idea what the cost of a RRA 5" with adjustable sights is, but if it is in the $1200 - $1400 then it will replace the LB as my "Best Buy".
