How easy are these guns to customize? I assume they accept standard 1911 after market parts? What about the compact commander sized one?

I live in the Peoples Republic of Mass, and have found a compact, and a full size that are Mass compliant, and am thinking of buying both.

I'm assuming you're talking about RIA's. I have a newer CD (they come from the same parent company) and every after market parts I've installed dropped in. Except the Novak look-a-like rear sight.
