MSH w/ lanyard

I am kinda wanting a flat mainspring housing, with the recessed/flush lanyard attachment, but with grooves instead of checkering. I've seen the Guncrafters MSH that Brownells carries, pretty much what I want except for the checkering.

Any suggestions?

the folks over at MARS Armament (http://harduseguns.com/agora/agora.cgi?product=1911_Parts&ppinc=1a) make all manner of custom MSHings with lots of textures and options (arched with mag well AND recessed lanyard pin!). they're a bit pricey, though, compared to Guncrafter - i suggest calling up GI (http://www.guncrafterindustries.com/contact.shtml) and asking the cost for making you a one-off serrated MSH.

Call these folks and see what they have. I bought an arched MSH w/loop from them, very good quality IMO. They have a wide variety, and might have what you need.

Oh Sweet!!! I've been looking for exactly that as well, looks like MARS has it and they are part of SAW which is all the better...

But ouch that price... :scared:
