Should the hammer strut ever rub on the sear spring? I'm reading some 1911 books that describe function and I don't see anything talking about strut/sear spring interaction so my gut feeling is that this should not be happening.
However, I've seen several guns where this takes place and I know it adds to a heavy trigger. ....just wanted to make sure I understand things correctly.
