Does anyone know if they make aftermarket triggers for the A2? If they do can anyone tell me where I can get one. Thank you for your time.

I don't know what an A2 is. But, a 1911 trigger is a 1911 trigger.

ranburr; 1911A2 which is a double stacked magazine 14 rounds. I would like a custom trigger , but it has to be wider

Who calls their double stack an "M1911A2"? I've never heard the moniker applied to anything.
Brownells has triggers for Para-Ordnance double stacks. I have no idea if they'll work in your "A2" since that's not a Para-Ord.

Armscor, RIA, Charles Daly make a 1911A1 and a 1911A2, The A1 is a single stack and the A2 is a double stack.

Hawkmoon is usually at the top of his game, however there are so many makes and models of 1911's it is very difficult to be on top of them all. I just learned from Hawkmoon a day or so ago, that the S.A.M. 1911's is not a new product line.

Hawkmoon,
Sorry if I offended you in any way, I thought that all double stacks were called A2's. Please forgive me.

HERE'S (http://www.gunaccessories.com/1911/kings/Trigger.asp) a link to the king's trigger page. looks like they have 2 at the bottom of the list for double stacks.

If it comes down to it, check with the Armscor reps in the Armscorp/Rock Island forum - they might even have what you need in stock there.
