New 1911 ?

Hi Gentlemen,

I acquired # 621,863 yesterday( anyone have shipping info?) and have a couple of questions. First ,the barrel has what looks like a P and the number 5 stamped forward of the lugs on the bottom. I can't find this marking in the Clawson book anywhere. Post-war? Aftermarket? Second there is a crudely stamped OG to the left of the US property mark.I know in 1903 rifles this usually means Ogden arsenal,Utah,but did they do 1911's? Somebody's initials?

OG is still Ogden Arsenal.... even on M1911s.

Does the barrel have a WWI or WWII profile on the step down area ????

As usual, pictures would clear this up alot faster.
