Recently I profiled the rear of one of my slides to match the mating surface of the frame. After re-blueing the rear of the slide the machined surface has significant light glare from the surface under the sight plane that disrupts the sight picture. I am considering to checker or serrate that area with a file. The V-Grip MSH has 30 LPI checkering.

My question is if I increase the LPI in the checkering or serration, will there be any additional benefit of glare reduction in the increased LPI. I would prefer the horizontal serrations over the checkering. Share with me what works for you.
