Well my damn rear sights decided to work their way loose after only a couple magazines. I tried lock tight, first blue than resorted to red with still no effect. As a matter of fact, after the red was used i with no suprise snapped the allen wrench tip off in the screw head. Guess what, i still was able to slide the sight out with the screw intact. Took it off, looked underneath it, and noticed that the screw was conviently recessed about as much as a primer is. The stupid thing was never even tapped deep enough to contact the slide when in the dove tail. Called SA sent it off and here i am about to snap since i am on 5 weeks now with out any info. Going to call again tomorrow. Last call the guy said they are all on vacation, dieeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I want my damn gun back. I cant believe i spend 1350 on a gun and they cant manage to put the freaking sights in properly. The only reason i sent it back in was to have them test the accuracy of it in a vice to see if a change in the sights is needed due to all the low reports people have. I seem to not be sure why i hit low often and figure its just me but when i bench it the same thing. Still i figured it must be me and i need practice. At times i hit bulls eye at 25 yrds but not often and it sure is not a 6 o clock hold as they say to use.

Hence my last purchase was a LES BAER Super tac, not the SA Pro. Only 4 more months to go, lol damn that hurts.

gun was returned today after 5 wks and now shoots much better. I figured there was somthing wrong with the sights as far as elevation is concerned since a lot of my shot were 6 inches low at 25yrds. Now with the new sights both front and rear according to the work order it shoots perfect at all distances. Apparently there was an issue since they replaced my front sight also when it was fine. All my shots end up in about a 5-6 inch circle all they way around the bullseye at 25 yrds. It can do much better since from a rest i shot 3 rnds dead center in bullseye and they were touching.
Please tell me why buying a 1300 gun requires a trip to the factory to be corrected? Shouldnt they do that the first time?
