There's a company called brightsights (brightsights.com I think) that makes them. I don't know how well they work but it might be a place to get started.

Night sites are generally tritium filled tubes machined into sights. It glows a 24/7 and doesn't need to be charged with a flashlight or other soruce. Look up Trijicon and Ameriglo for fairly inexpensive nightsights.

There are luminescent paints available that can be charged with a flashlight, but I really don't see the point in doing that.

I have the paint kit from Bright Sights and have keep some on hand but it is not a permanent fix. The colors are great but the paint dries like a coat of rubber film and any touch will rub the paint off very easily. I keep the kit in case of emergency for temporary fixes only. Works great when installing a new front blade that has to be cut down & shaped to sight in because it provides a bright contrasting color that is highly visible and temporary. Just re-paint after each filing/shaping of the sight and shoot again until you have achieved the correct shape & height. The paint is then cleaned off and you color the sight(cold blue or whatever) the final color you want it to be.

It is one of those items that are cheap and you keep close at hand because you only need it when you don't have it.
