I have a Kimber Stainless TLE/RL II that I'm getting ready to start using as my carry piece. I absolutely love everything about the pistol except that the grips could be a little narrower. I looked around trying to find some slim grips but most of what I have found have been wood grips.
Does anyone know where I can find some slim rubber grips for a fullsized 1911?

Pearce modular grips. You can get 'em from Brownells. Click the link in the sponsors' panel.
I reviewed them in the e-zine awhile back.

Also, Esmeralda usually has a dozen or so in stock. She uses mostly AAA-AAAA stock and turns out some nice work.

Fusion Firearms has hand-select cocbolos for $30 and he also has the thin-grip bushings and screws in stock. Bob's a great guy to work with too if you haven't had any dealings with him yet. Plus, you can email him and he will send you some pictures so you can pick out the hue and grain that you want. I have two pairs of his grips, everyone asks how much I paid for them because they look so expensive.

I have no idea who makes thin rubber grips, though for a carry gun they seem to make so much sense.

I just put on a set of Esmeralda's slim wood grips, I really like them. She does beautiful work, her customer service is excellent and she ships them right away. I can't say enough good about her. They look great on my LB Stinger. I would like to find some thin rubber or the likes for my colt CCO though.

Not rubber but VZ (http://www.vzgrips.com/) makes some slim gator back grips you might want to look at. I like the regular ones, they are sticky like a checkered surface.

Also, Alumagrips makes thin model. I have a set in black - used one range trip - decided I prefer full size, but they are nice..
Good luck finding the rubber ones..

Have a couple sets from Esmeralda and VZ. Both are high quality distributed by good poeple. Personally I use the 320 thins from VZ on carry pistol. Good texture without being so aggressive to rub skin raw.

I just ordered some of these... 'ergo' rubber grips. They were relatively inexpensive at $22. According to the website, they are as thin as you can get without thin bushings. Just ordered today, so no feedback/review.
