EGW Slide stop

Hi all,
Primarily a lurker, though I think I've chimed in a few times. Anyway, on to the question: Is anyone aware of any issues with the EGW slide stop (http://egw-guns.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=34_48&products_id=46)?

I have one. It didn't drop in to one of my S&W 1911s. It took a little fitting to get it go in at all. There wasn't enough bevel for it to push the plunger out of the way. Other then that it works fine.
