Springfield champion questions...

I just put down money on a gi springfield champ. It is lightly used, 460 with tax and dros. Only modifications are novak sights. My questions directed at other champion owners are:

1) What magazines are you using?

2) What defensive ammo are you using/know will feed?

3) Any tuning/modifications you would suggest? Which ones do you have?

4) What holster are you using?

Standard milspec mags work fine in mine. If I was to use it as a carry piece, I would use Wilson's
2) What defensive ammo are you using/know will feed?
Have had good luck with Golden Sabers - no feed problems
3) Any tuning/modifications you would suggest? Which ones do you have?
Just Novak sights - GI sights are no good for old eyes
4) What holster are you using?
I have a Galco SOB and a Miami Classic shoulder rig

Thanks azreloader! Went and got a bunch of GI mags from a local shop that has them new in wrap for cheap. Figure now that I am bit by the 1911 bug I can use them in both my pistols and any future ones I pick up. They all worked perfectly with ball in my Norinco this morning.

My Glocks need to be worried! Between my m&ps, and new 1911 fetish I may need to make room in the gun safe!
