I just pick ths Colt up I no that not all the parts are original but I can get the parts to make it more original should I go for it or not.it has no arsenal stampings on it at all

It may not have any Arsenal stampings but it sure looks like it's been refinished.

Hi

Picking up a few WWII era parts is a fun way to spend your spare time. I'm not sure that it's going to a financially sound thing to do though.

Looks reparked to me. Hard to tell from the pic but the magazine looks to be parkerized also.

The pistol is refinished. Unless you plan to again refinish it with a restored finish similar to what the original finish was, I would not spend the money to have more non-original parts.

By the time you get done buying a bunch of parts and doing a restored finish, you might be surprised how much you've spent.

I'd leave it just like it is and shoot it.
